Nathan Morris came to Christ for the Nations in September earlier this year for CFNI’s annual Voice of Healing conference and he said something I thought I would share as it impacted me to my core. He mentioned of a time Reinhard Bonnke sat him down and told him something about the Gospel.
Reinhard told Nathan that in all the evangelical work he would do, if he preached God the Savior in services and meetings, he would see people saved. If Nathan preached God the Deliverer to the people, he would see people delivered. If he preached God our Healer, then he would see people healed. The only problem is that if Nathan preached God the Savior and that alone, he would be preaching a lopsided Gospel. If Nathan preached God the Deliverer and that alone, he would be preaching a lopsided Gospel. If he were to preach God the Healer and that alone to all the people listening to his voice at that very moment, it would still be a lopsided Gospel. God is all of these things at once. We should preach theĀ full Gospel, God is a Savior, Deliverer, and Healer all at once. This is the full Gospel.
